Paris, March 28, 2025 - Deepomatic, the leader in computer vision for telecom, utilities and energy networks, is thrilled to announce that its Visual AI platform has been honored with the “Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning and other software” award from the FTTH Council Europe, the leading European trade organization for the fiber broadband industry.
Following the success of their introduction during the last edition of the event in Berlin, the FTTH Conference 2025 has seen a second set of awards awarded to the exhibiting sponsors of the event. The objective of these awards is to recognise the outstanding support of companies that have actively contributed to the acceleration of FTTH in Europe during the last 12 months. The judging panel was made up of experts from the FTTH Council Europe board members, committee chairs as well as conference and workshop speakers. The winners were announced at the FTTH Conference in Amsterdam on Thursday the 27th of March.
Deepomatic’s Visual AI platform supports network operators and contractors that build, operate and maintain fiber optic infrastructures, by streamlining their quality control process and providing them with unprecedented network documentation. Thanks to state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms that instantly analyze photos captured by on-site crews, Deepomatic automates visual inspections, providing live feedback on potential defects directly to field workers. The solution also extracts visual insights like fiber asset degradation or inventory levels, to update operators' systems of record and enable them to plan operations more efficiently.

Vincent Garnier, Director General at the FTTH Council Europe, said: "The FTTH Council Europe promotes the deployment of future-proof fiber infrastructures, a goal that can only be achieved if operators and their partners adopt a quality by design approach, and a data-driven operational strategy. Deepomatic has been a member of the FTTH Council for a number of years now and it is a pleasure to see them recognized as a leader in FTTH innovation".
Estelle Milo, VP Marketing of Deepomatic, said "Thank you to the FTTH Council Europe and the judges for recognizing the value of our Visual AI platform with this innovative industry award. At Deepomatic we believe that photos are an untapped source of data that hold immense potential to automate quality control processes and document fiber networks and operations. Our team is fully committed in helping fiber operators and their contractors leverage this potential. Winning this award is a demonstration of the key role that AI plays in delivering efficient and sustainable fiber networks."
