Discover how AI agentification is transforming network management - join us at booth 342
Cambridge, 28 May 2024 - IQGeo, a developer of geospatial software that is “Building better networks” for telecom and utility operators, today announced that it will preview its brand-new class of autonomous network management AI agents at this year’s Fiber Connect 2025 event in Nashville, taking place June 1-4.
Maintaining the accuracy of fiber network models is an increasingly complex challenge that costly and error-prone manual processes can no longer meet. IQGeo’s new AI agents will solve this problem by independently monitoring, advising and updating digital network models to reflect the real-world status of fiber infrastructure with exceptional precision and currency.
This innovation marks a decisive shift toward AI ‘agentification’ in telecom network management, where intelligent digital twins can act autonomously to identify and resolve data discrepancies, resulting in reduced errors, rework and operational waste. By establishing a foundation for automation not previously possible, agentification enables telecom operators to move beyond reactive data correction toward real-time, proactive network management.
Jay Cadman, Senior Vice President at IQGeo, said: “At Fiber Connect 2025, we’ll be previewing our AI agents to broadband operators. IQGeo and Deepomatic are changing the rules of the game with technology that understands, decides and acts in real time. Using live imagery and data, the AI agents will create a self-updating, self-healing digital twin that eliminates inefficiencies and gives operators greater control over their most valuable network assets.”
Following its planned acquisition of AI experts Deepomatic, IQGeo is deploying agentic technology across its software portfolio. The AI agents analyze field imagery, Google Street View and third-party data sources to detect issues, assess asset conditions, update geospatial models and trigger service actions without the requirement for human intervention.
Technology previews will be available at Fiber Connect at both the IQGeo and Deepomatic booths (#342 and #1066 respectively).
IQGeo announced the planned acquisition of Deepomatic on 24th of March. The acquisition is scheduled to complete in the summer of 2025.
